ABS: examples keyboard key caps, children’s toys, LEGO blocks

Acetal: commonly used as bearing and gears

High Impact polystyrene (HIPS): CD cases, smoke detector housings, plastic model assembly kits, license plate frames

LDPE: trays, general purpose containers, snap on lids, playground slides

Polypropylene: living hinges, food containers, disposable bottles, car batteries, waste basket, pharmacy prescription bottles, dishes, pitchers
